The three structures of Shanul, Homa and Varavi are located Fars Province toward the south of Iran and close to the Persian Gulf.

 

 

Yaran Oil Field is a structure 48 Km in length and 2.5 Km wide. It is located southwest of Iran within Khoozestan Province and 90 Km west of Ahwaz. Yaran extends along the Iran-Iraq border and is a shared field with Iraq. This field is referred to as Majnoon in Iraq and is divided into North and South. Since March 2014, PPZ Co.

 

 

Naft Shahr Block extends from west to northwest of Ilam Province in the west of Iran. A total number of 15 structural traps have been mapped mainly based on structural geology in the area of Naft Shahr.

 

Dorood Field is located in the on the Persian Gulf, Offshore Iran. This field is located in the northern part of the Persian Gulf, northwest of Bushehr and on Yamama Reservoir. It is an offshore field partly beneath Kharg Island nearby Foroozan, Soroosh and Aboozar fields and is the southernmost sector outside the Iranian three-mile limit.

 

 

Arvandan Oil and Gas Company (AOGC) as a newly established subsidiary of NIOC and acting as the main operator in the oil and gas production from Azadegan, Yadavaran, Darquain, Jufeyr, Moshtagh, Khorramshahr, Arvand, Susangerd, Band-e Karkheh, Omid and other fields located west of the Karoon River signed a new contract with PPZ Co. to extend the bilateral cooperation between the two companies for two more years.

 

Zaghej is a heavy oil field located in the southwest of Iran along the Persian Gulf coast and to the north of Dailam Port and south of Rag-e Sefid Oil Field. This field was discovered in 1979.

In March 2010, the technical engineering and drilling of this field, a 32-month-long project, was offered to PPZ Co. by Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC).

 

 

Tabnak Gas Field is located beneath a surface anticline (mountain) which is the easternmost culmination of Assaluyeh Anticline in south of Iran. Surface whereabouts of the field are south of Varavi town, parallel to the Persian Gulf coastline, and 50 Km to Assaluyeh Port. To further develop this field, Iranian Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC) entrusted PPZ Co. with a project to prepare a Master Development Plan (MDP) within 12 months. The main reservoirs in this 42 x5 Km2 field are Dehram Group including Kangan, Upper Dalan and Lower Dalan which are mainly made of carbonate rocks.

 

Azar is an oil field located in the west of Iran at the foot of Zagros Mountains along Iran-Iraq borderline, southwest of Ilam Province, between Mehran and Dehloran towns. Technical engineering and drilling supervision of the field development was entrusted with PPZ Co. by Petroleum Engineering and Development Co. (PEDEC). Sarvak Azar Engineering and Development Company (SAED) was the main contractor for development of the field.

 

Arvandan Oil and Gas Company (AOGC) as an NIOC subsidiary was established to act as the main operator in the oil and gas production from Azadegan, Yadavaran, Darquain, Jufeyr, Moshtagh, Khorramshahr, Arvand, Susangerd, Band-e Karkheh, Omid and other fields located west of the Karoon River. All the above-mentioned fields are newly explored and their development is being pursued by corresponding sections in NIOC.

 

From 2008 to 2010, PPZ Co. was entrusted with Drilling Supervision of 5 land rigs after winning the third tender offered by ICOFC.

Kish structure is located in the Persian Gulf, 30 Km east of Lavan Island. According to NIOC preliminary studies, the OGIP (original gas in place) of this field is expected to be 45 TSCF.

Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC) has started to develop Kish Gas Field and in this regard, an engineering and supervision contract of 24 months was awarded to Pars Petro Zagros Engineering and Services Company. According to NIOC preliminary studies, the OGIP (original gas in place) of this field is estimated to be 45 TSCF.

 

 

 

Jufeyr Oil Field is located in Dezful Embayment, Khuzestan Province, southwest of Iran. The oil field is 50 Km southwest of Ahwaz and adjacent to Azadegan, Yadavaran and Ab-e Teymur Fields. PPZ Co., as consultant, completed an MDP for Jufeyr Field with cooperation on the part of Belarusneft Co. PPZ Co. also participated in NIOC-Belarusneft technical and financial negotiation.

 

In September 2006, PPZ Co. signed a contract with PEDEC for supervision of development project in   Mansoori Oil Field. Mansoori Oil Field is located in Dezful Embayment (Dezful North) and surrounded by Houwr Marsh. Ab-e Teymur and Shadegan are the neighboring fields to Mansoori Field.

 

Danan and Dehluran are oil fields were discovered more than 30 years ago. These fields are located in southwest Iran, near Iran-Iraq border and approximately 200 Km northwest of Ahwaz.

 

 

Nowadays, achieving the final objectives in hydrocarbon reservoir development requires proper and correct reservoir management prior to smart and timely operations. In this regard, close communication among different expert groups as well as prompt and rapid reciprocal data exchange with them can guarantee proper processing and interpretation for optimal managerial decision making.

 

In 2006, PPZ Co. won a tender offered by Iranian Central Oil Field Company (ICOFC) for Drilling and Geological Supervision and Engineering Services of 6 onshore drilling and workover rigs. The contract was for one year which was extendable to one more year by mutual agreement.

 

North Pars Gas Field is located in shallow waters of the Persian Gulf, about 120 Km southeast of Bushehr Port. The field was discovered in 1967 by drilling well C-1. Field development plan started in 1976 but stopped due to the advent of the Islamic Revolution and subsequent Imposed War.

 

 

In late November 2005, PPZ Co. signed a 30 month contract with IOOC to provide technical, commercial and engineering consultancy in a variety of domains such as drilling, engineering and commercial activities.

 

 

This six-month-long project for technical services was entrusted to PPZ Co. by Petroiran Development Company (PEDCO) and started on the 24th of April, 2005.

 

Hendijan Oil Field is located in the Persian Gulf near Bahregansar Field. This field, which has been producing since 1970 from the Nahr-Umr Formation, is supervised by Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC), a subsidiary of NIOC. Other formations such as Ghar, Sarvak and Asmari were subsequently added to the production stream In spite of average rate of approximately 25% of the initial oil in place until 2003, no full field simulation study of this field had ever been carried out.
